Psychotherapy

I work with individuals to navigate the difficulties involved in creating a rich and meaningful life. I tailor my approach to each client based on somatic, depth, and humanistic psychologies. See books for a list of foundational reading. I draw on experience at The Maple Counseling Center, The Pain Psychology Center, Community West, Antioch Community Therapy Services, along with seven years working in business and eight years supporting my own adventures.

I take a supportive stance that provides a lot of space for you, without leaving you unnecessarily hanging or mystified. I believe that worthwhile insights are obvious and work on a practical level, and that new answers can always be found by tuning in to our embodied experience right now.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Somatic Healing
  • Relationship to Self
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Identity Resolution
  • Authentic Career Development
  • Understanding Formative Personality Dynamics
  • Renegotiating Trauma
  • Pain and Somatic Reprocessing
  • Teen Issues
